Hey, remember Bloomsbury?? Well, last weekend we held the first official Lise Meitner Conference in Logan, celebrating Bloomsbury's first year!

There were poetry and essay readings, free writing exercises, some serious insight into the collective unconscious, and self-applied Greek mythology! Come on, you know you're jealous.

It was a weekend full of intelligent women, insights, good food, no kids, and stimulating conversation. And that, my friends, is a recipe for bliss.

it's your birthday, peepers!

It's funny, because I remember when Peeps was a baby thinking: Won't it be great when she can talk and move around and we can play fun games together??

And now that she's four, I find myself thinking: Remember when she was just a cute little baby and sat in that bouncer all day and didn't say a word? And there was only ONE of them? That was pretty cool.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool now, too. Just a bit more intense. See for yourself:
