in case you haven't heard

I have a new sister-in-law! Meet Autumn, who eloped with Dave's brother in December. (I have always wanted to elope. Also, I've always wanted to be a nun...of course, a husband and two kids sort of puts a wrench in either of these romantic inclinations).

They came down to S.V. for a little celebratory brunch. Below is Kristen and my attempt at Martha Stewartism:

And then we made them give a toast to each other. You know, cuz we didn't get to be at the actual wedding. And their tributes were sweet, so I'm glad we forced the idea upon them :)

Congrats, you two!

I was so bummed to have missed the opportunity to meet Mrs. Brent Mayberry...had an obligatory meeting with my calling that day and couldn't get away. I could hardly contain my enthusiasm for these two when I heard the good news! Hooray for love!

1. YAY for MAYBERRYS! UR lucky to have such a cool SIL. They are so cute, and you did awesome on the Martha-ism.

2. You want to be a nun? ME TOOO! I told my mission president every month that I wanted to extend for 50 years. I just put a library hold on "Mountains Sisters: From convent to community" about a group of nuns who left the church and just kept being nuns in appalachia (which would have been my story exactly if I had gone ahead and given myself that extension).

3.Post some more Lucy pictures. I miss seeing that little punkin.
