good karma abounds

Earlier this week, I put my Netflix mailer on the roof of the car as I loaded the girls up. I forgot about it, of course (why do we never learn that the roof of cars = a black hole??), and drove off. I thought I'd certainly have to pay for the film (Angels in the Dust, by the way, a really touching/tragic documentary about orphans in Africa) when miracle of miracles, today I was advised by e-mail that Netflix had received it! Thank you, good Samaritan who dropped it in the mail for me, wherever you are.

Then, at the farmer's market, they randomly had this book on sale for five bucks! It's been on my "to read" list for like two years.

Happy, happy day.

COOL! Barbara is (WAS?) a Tucson resident. I went to a talk she gave in 1995. Great writer. Tell us how the book goes. I just uploaded The China Study to read/listen to along with my SIL Amie.

Yay! A good day!!! I have no sound on my computer but I loved watching your video. Peeps is so full of life and energy... just like her mama! What a little fire cracker!

I have been meaning to comment on your blog FOREVER, but seems that that would require me to log onto my own blog to navigate to yours, well that's asking too much (as you can see from my lack of any updates). Anyhoo, here it goes....

The train wreck reinactment? Never saw that, you must have had a much better teacher than myself. Secondly, I love to hear you stole from the library, you infact are not perfect. I'm glad to hear you have something in common with Oprah! Although I don't love her as much as in hs, I do still love her show topics, most the time anyway. So jealous of your Craigslist finds. You cannot find that kind of quality here in UT after 4+ kids have used it. Well done LA. And lastly I dreamt about Mr. last night! I know random, but even though I woke up and was brought back to reality, it's been making me miss you and all the fun of those days! Speaking of those days, I have something really shall we say interesting to share with you! We need to talk. I will watch for you to be online, although, this may require a face to face visit. Any visits planned?
