my own personal women's lib movement

I cut my hair. And though it may not be my most flattering style to date, it has certainly been the most liberating--an outward manifestation of some brewing inner rebelliousness.

A lot of people have termed the haircut "brave" or "fun," which mostly I take to be code for "yikes!" Still, I absolutely love it. And, let's be serious, as a girl who pulls her hair back 99 days in 100, from the front it looks pretty much the same as it always has.

Ha! Ha! I love the compliment in "code". Kind of reminds me that Seinfeld episode where they visit their friend's newborn baby and all they can say is, "Breathtaking!" So funny...
Anyway, about your hair...glad you love it! That's all that matters anyway, right?

I think it looks amazing. It brings out your symetrical face. I love that you comb it the same way I do. I notice that you haven't been to visit us since you cut it. Are you afraid?

Okay...we have some weird brain connection going on. Not only do we both have Lucys but I cut my hair really short like yours last week...(call it my post baby liberation) and...I just finished the third book about the life of Ms. Sarah Agnes Prine. I hope you like These is my words...I loved it! Make sure you read all three.

I love it! I want to chop my hair off too. But, I know that I would regret it when I decided to grow it out again.
A hair-dresser friend of mine told me that getting breast-cancer was the most liberating thing for her because of her hair loss, sounds like chopping your lovely locks off has had a similar effect for you.
