Trip Highlights:
*Calling 911 to report a man setting fire to the shrubbery on the National Mall.
*Visiting my cousin, Katie, who is pregnant with QUINTS!
*Being sans toddler for a few days.
*How my (and your!) taxes pre-paid our museum entry fees.
*Renting a van.
*Watching Dave walk and be officially finished with all hideous and looming homework.
Trip Lowlights:
*Being sans toddler for a few days.
*How renting a van has made our accord seem extremely small.
*The thousands of 8th grade groups in bright t-shirts on a field trip.
*Having the airline agent tell me "I see you're expecting another. You're a brave woman." Um, excuse me why I go into a corner and cry.
Anyway, all in all it was a good trip. One I'd love to take again with no kids at all because taking your 2 year old to the Holocaust Museum and shoving her mouth full of illegal crackers in order to keep her characteristic yelps from disturbing the respectful silence is just a bit taboo.
Now for some pics:

so sorry about the last low light...i feel your pain.
What a fun trip...and congrats to your hubby...btw, you do NOT look like you're having another one...
I love that you got to go to DC for this. It seems like there are so many cool things to see/do there.
Yay Dave! What a fun trip--the pictures are great. Flight attendants are not the smartest. You look great!
That was a super sucky lowlight--you look so awesome, gimme a break. And the Holocaust Museum is my very favorite DC place (tied with Jefferson Memorial). I think I have spent 2 8-hour days there and still have more to see. I'll take you with me next time,k? (no little ones allowed) :)
Congrats to Dave! I love D.C. it's been too long since I've made a visit. I'm sending angry vibes to the ticket agent.
Congrats to Dave. I love post-pregnancy comments they are great self-esteem builders.
