visitors

My mom flew in this week for a week, bearing many gifts: books, chocolate, clothing, and handmade quilts for each of the girls. What a superwoman! It's been such a reprieve to have her here at the ready to play with Peeps or rock Lucy in the wee hours.

Grandma Marti helped out immensely the first few days--coming over in the mornings to be Peepers' playmate. She leaves tomorrow to extend the same service to Kate, who had a baby boy a few days after me. Congrats to them and hooray for a new nephew!

My sisters came for a visit as well.
Just a day trip, but it was fun! Here's Syd with the baby.

Penelope has been enjoying all sorts of liberties as we adjust to the new dynamic...

Lucy scowls as we attempt to pose her.
What a cutie!

Lucy's mad because her Aunt Lindsay hasn't been to see her yet, Don't worry I'm in the process of remedying that!

So glad you've had so much help. Can't wait to see you all soon :)

Hey....so, Taylor has been in love with the name Lucy for a bit over a year. I cant believe you named your girl, Lucy! Right now, I am really stuck on Eva (Eve, the spanish version)for our baby girl, but Taylor is obsessed with Lucy. Hope you dont mind but as of right now, we are at a 50% chance of using that name too. Its a great one. If we do name her Lucy, we will have to get the two Lucy's together someday. We shall see.

I just told Taylor you named your girl Lucy. He wanted to see her pic. He just suggested to use "Lacy" as a compromise between our names. It is now on "the short list." Either way, your golden!
