...it's Barack Obama's presidential birthday too. Seeing as today is the only inauguration I've actually had interest in watching, I just want to say that I'm excited about the new president. Plus, what a historic day for the country! We may not line up in all our views but I'm giving him my respect up front and we'll take it from there. The presidential office has been devoid of such a thing for too long, anyway.But enough politics: it's Lindsay's birthday! And I want to wish her a happy one--filled with thoughtfulness and fun, which is what she always fills everyone else with. Love you sis!

I agree about the excitement of the new president! My students and I watched the inauguration live today, and we're also studying Martin Luther King Jr. this week. I so desperately want them to understand the historical significance of what they're living through right now! It was definitely an exciting day!. :)
On an unrelated note - have you picked out a name for the new baby yet??
